The Belt and Road Initiative includes 1/3 of world trade and GDP and over 60% of the world's population.
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a development strategy proposed by Chinese Government that focuses on connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries. It is short for the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road.
China proposed the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2013 to improve connectivity and cooperation on a transcontinental scale.
China has signed 197 Belt and Road (B&R) cooperation documents with 137 countries and 30 international organizations by the end of October,2019.
Apart from developing and developed economies, a number of companies and financial institutions from developed countries have collaborated with China to expand the third-party market as well.
The construction of the China-Laos railway, China-Thailand railway, Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway and Hungary-Serbia railway are making solid headway while projects including the Gwadar Port, Hambantota Port, Piraeus Port and Khalifa Port have gone smoothly.
Meanwhile, the building of the China-Belarus industrial park, China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone and China-Egypt Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is also forging ahead.
From January to September,2019, China's trade with B&R countries totaled about 950 billion U.S. dollars, and its non-financial direct investment in these countries topped 10 billion dollars.
China has made bilateral currency swap arrangements with 20 B&R countries and established RMB clearing arrangements with seven countries.
In addition, the country has also made achievements with B&R countries in other sectors including technology exchange, education cooperation, culture and tourism, green development and foreign aid.
As leader in cross-border trade Oujian has also devoted itself to contribute to the B&R Initiative. We served participants from Bangladesh with commodity classification services and helped them to solve the difficult issues while importing their exhibits to shanghai.
Besides, we have established online Bangladeshi pavilion on our website, which shows the featured jute handcraft. At the same time, we has been fully supporting the sales of the featured commodities from Bangladesh through many other channels. This will further deepen the pragmatic cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises, create opportunities for development, seek new impetus for development and expand new space for development.
