Many Provinces and Cities Achieve Record High Foreign Trade in the First Half of the Year

Recently, customs authorities across the country have released regional foreign trade data. In the first half of this year, multiple regions and provinces in China have achieved historical highs for the same period. Regions such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, the three northeastern provinces, as well as Anhui in central China and Guangxi in western China, have all seen record-high import scales in goods trade. Notably, in terms of exports, the year-on-year growth rate of China’s goods trade exports continued to rise to 6.9% in the first half of the year, significantly contributing to economic momentum from a growth perspective.
